Missing the weekend already? I think I have something that might sweeten this Monday. How about a giveaway from Craftsy!?

I’ve been slowly collecting all of the sewing classes on Craftsy so that I’m prepared to really learn this summer! Craftsy is a great place to take a variety of DIY video courses and workshops  and the best part is that they’re all online. I’m always looking for ways to expand my knitting knowledge and Craftsy has a great selection of classes. You can watch them whenever you want, however many times you please! And you don’t have to worry about classes being overbooked or sold out. It’s all on your own terms.

Browser Platform

The wonderful people at Craftsy have been nice enough to share a few classes to give to you lovely readers! I am so excited to be able to give away one class to FIVE people! Thanks, Craftsy!

So here’s what you have to do to win. Just go to Craftsy and check out their classes. Cooking, knitting, jewelry – they have it all.   Leave a comment here telling me which class you’d like to take. (I’m looking forward to taking the sewing with knits class, myself.) At 12pm EST on April 29th, I’ll pick five winners through random number generator so make sure that you leave your email address in the comments so I know how to get in touch with you if you’re a winner! It’s that simple!

Which Craftsy class do you have your eye on?

ps. Check out this little interview with me on UrbanCraftMag!

I think I would branch out from knitting and take the “Classic Tailored Shirt” class. Although I would have to buy a sewing machine, oh well!

I’m eyeing Lucy Neatby’s double knitting class. Her DVDs are chock-full of knitting-life-changing tips, so I’m sure her class will be mind-blowing.

I have quite a few Craftsy classes in my wish list. I’m enjoying the spinning class, but think I might want to try the Icelandic Sweater one next, or possibly Modern Cake Decorating.

I would love to do Ragga’s Top Down Icelandic Sweater class! I was lucky enough to take a Tunisian Crochet class from her at Stitches West last year and she’s a fabulous teacher. I really love her Icelandic sweaters!

Oh my goodness I am torn between 2 classes right now. I need to do Stephanie Japel’s Fit Your Knits class after my epic fail of a jumper I just finished, it’s about 4 sizes too big! However to develop my jewellery making I really want to do Lisa Niven Kelly’s Make Your Own Wirework Findings, it looks great. Well if I am lucky enough to win it will be a pleasant dilemma 🙂

I learned to make patterns in college, but I think the “Classic Tailored Shirt” class looks like a great class to take.

I’ve already taken Faina Goberstein’s “Sizing Knitwear Patterns”, which was quite excellent.

Teach a person to knit and they’ll be clothed for life!

    Garment Design looks awesome 😀

I think it would have to be Spindling: from fluff to stuff. I received two supported spindles for Christmas but haven’t done anything with them yet!

I would love to take “Knit to flatter” by Amy Herzog!

  • April 24, 2013 at 10:07 am |

Oh man, there are so many I would take! My gut says that the Shirley Paden design class is just what I need in my life, but the classic tailored shirt class looks amazing as well.
